Following several years of operating in a divisional structure to nurture and develop the company's strengths in specific market sectors,  Palamatic has restructured the organization to fit in with its different trading styles with a view to offering its prestigious customer base

The "re-engineering" of the company, first established in 1985, has also included financial re-structuring, introduction of new equity and investment in order to provide a solid platform for the company to deliver its promise to customers. A team of advisors - accountants, lawyers and funders based in Sheffield, UK have worked with the Board of Directors and concluded the restructuring of Palamatic Ltd and PalPharma Handling Solutions Ltd in June 2009.  Further investment is being sought for PalPharma Handling Solutions Ltd and it is anticipated that this company will commence trading independently in 2010. History

After selling lifting equipment for warehousing areas and automatic sack opening machines to the pharmaceutical sector for many years it became evident that the industry had very few ergonomic, hygienic lifting and handling solutions for their difficult process applications. In 2003 the Board of directors, headed up by Melanie Taylor Managing Director, set out on a path to develop new product ranges and move into new niche markets. One of the key focus areas of development were the Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Fine Chemical and Biotech industries.

2005

This division PALPharma Handling Solutions was formed with a dedicated team of managers, engineers, technical sales engineers, fitters and commissioning engineers.

2007

Palamatic formed its subsidiary office in the USA. Based in Garner North Carolina, the area was chosen as it based the sales and support team in the most central spot for the Carolinas Pharma manufacturing companies.

As well as the back-up team in the UK, the USA has its own dedicated sales team and two regional based agents in Carolinas and California.

2009

In March 2009 following the Interphex show in New York, the exhibition equipment was re-located to the Test Plant facility in Garner where customers can call by to discuss their applications and see demonstration equipment to help understand what handling solutions are available.
